Prior experience with electrical drafting work is preferred but will also consider mechanical, plumbing, structural or architectural backgrounds. Job Description:
Meade is looking for an experienced Electrical Designer III to design & draft electrical engineering construction plans for data centers and other high-profile commercial construction projects. Prior experience with electrical drafting work is preferred but will also consider mechanical, plumbing, structural or architectural backgrounds. Job Duties
- Develop, draft, and publish electrical construction documents for data centers and high-profile commercial projects.
- Perform drafting work under the direction of project managers and engineers, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and within established deadlines.
- Create and maintain company-specific AutoCAD standards and technical details.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve design challenges and improve drafting processes.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Support project documentation, including design revisions, as-built drawings, and technical submittals.
- Assist in the integration of Revit models and BIM coordination when applicable.
- 4 years of experience as an electrical designer/drafter.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Ability to work in a team environment with Project Managers, Engineers and Designers.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, be motivated by deadlines, and possess the ability to multi-task.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office products, especially excel.
- Revit experience a plus.
- Communication skills both written and verbal are required.
- Knowledge of the principles within engineering and construction field preferred.
