Job Summary: Primary responsibility is to unload trucks and stock drywall and shingles while helping customers in the yard. You may also drive company vehicles to deliver merchandise to customer jobsites and physically unload the materials to the customer’s satisfaction.
Pay for this Role: $17.00-$19.00 per hour depending on experience.
- Learn company products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy.
- Receive and unload materials from delivery trucks
- Stock drywall and shingles
- Unload/Load customer orders accurately in accordance with paperwork/invoices.
- Organize, label, store materials in accordance with protocols.
- Follow yard loading and delivery procedures.
- Accurately record all merchandise returns on a credit memo, put materials in designated return area and ensure return to vendor.
- Listen and work with customers to fulfill their needs.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- Operate forklift and other heavy equipment
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Physical strength to lift and carry 100 pounds.
- Ability to stoop, kneel and crouch.
- Able to work some weekends.
- Valid driver's license
- Desire to learn and grow professionally.
- React quickly to problems and respond to them accurately and professionally.
- Ability to stand/walk for 4 -10 hours daily.
- Self motivated and organized
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
