Key Responsibilities
- Sort saw jobs according to production needs.
- Complete saw jobs as instructed.
- Ensure production stations are level loaded by monitoring the output of each assembly line.
- Maintain a safe environment by following all listed precautions.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- No saw or manufacturing experience required but would be a plus.
- Possess or be willing to obtain a forklift certification.
- Ability to analyze technical problems, determine root causes and recommend solutions.to management.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to recommend changes to improve workflows, productivity.
- Ability to assess situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks, making clear decisions in the best interests of the organization.
- Ability to operate a variety of machinery including but not limited to: Monet Desaw, Monet Desawyer ESC, Mitek Blade, Dewalt Chopsaw, other power tools, and hand tools, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Knowledge in electrical and mechanical skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, or maintain some saw functions.
