Key Responsibilities
- Read and understand material pick lists.
- Safely, accurately and efficiently build material loads based off pick lists and scheduled delivery dates.
- Safely load trailers with finished goods in preparation for delivery.
- Operate forklifts for disposition of materials.
- Unload vendor freight deliveries, verifying accuracy of Bill of Ladings compared to purchase orders.
- Dispose of received goods in an organized fashion in accordance with branch and company standards.
- Assist with additional yard and truss production requirements as needed.
- High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or associate’s degree required.
- Ability to work both inside and outside in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to accurately read material part numbers and quantities required.
- Previous forklift handling experience is a plus but not required.
