Job Summary: As an Installation Trim Carpenter, you will be responsible for installing interior trim, doors, molding, and finish carpentry components with accuracy and professionalism. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently in residential and light commercial environments.
Pay for this Role: Negotiable, depending on experience.
- Install interior trim packages, including casing, baseboards, crown molding, and specialty millwork.
- Hang, adjust, and install interior doors, including pre-hung, slab, pocket, and barn door systems.
- Install shelving, closet systems, stair components, and other finish carpentry details.
- Read and interpret work orders, measurements, blueprints, and installation instructions to ensure accurate installation.
- Install building materials according to company standards, quality expectations, and safety procedures.
- Inspect completed installations, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments as needed.
- Safely operate hand and power tools, including miter saws, nail guns, routers, and other carpentry equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members.
- Identify and report material shortages, measurement discrepancies, or installation conflicts promptly.
- Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and on time.
- Travel to and from customer jobsites as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in finish carpentry, trim installation, or building materials installation required.
- Experience installing interior doors, trim packages, millwork, shelving, and other finish carpentry products.
- Proficient with hand and power tools used in finish carpentry.
- Ability to read measurements, work orders, and installation instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and work in a variety of weather and jobsite conditions.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
