Mead & Hunt is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Transportation team as a Roadway Designer. This role will sit in our Charleston, WV office.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing roadway design tasks from preliminary to final design
- Developing and reviewing plan sets, quantity estimates and associated documents
- A valid license and some travel will be required
The successful candidate will have all of the following
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil engineering from an accredited college or university AND at least two years of relevant work experience
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:
- MicroStation and ORD software
- WVDOH and municipal roadway design projects
- WVDOH experience, including Design Directives and Standard Specifications
- MS Office including Project
- Have successfully passed FE exam and have the ability to obtain a WV PE as soon as practical
