Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans
- Deliver a variety of massage modalities including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific pain points
- Educate clients on self-care practices and occupational health strategies to maintain long-term wellness
- Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient progress, and relevant medical information in compliance with health regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client concerns with professionalism
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive pain management strategies
- Ensure all equipment and treatment areas adhere to safety standards and sanitation protocols
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in good standing
- Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on pain management and injury recovery
- Hands-on expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced massage techniques
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage
- Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and explain treatment benefits clearly
