What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista/Delivery position at Me Oh My Coffee and Pie?
Weekends are a must. Part time counter service and delivery at the end of shift.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold food and beverages, including coffee, espresso, tea and easy fast meals.
- Take customer orders and accurately enter them into the cash register
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and other food preparation tools
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
- Handle cash transactions and provide accurate change to customers
-Load and safely deliver food to our other location
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
-Must have an SUV or other capable car for delivery. Must be able to carry up to 2 baking racks approximately 26" square and 30" high.
-Must have a good driving record
