About the Role:
The ME EM Shop floor Assistant’s main duties focus on supporting the sales team. You represent ME EM’s image and standard of client service in our stores. You work well in a dynamic team environment, are a clear communicator, able to multitask and can adapt to high and low traffic patterns.
Your Responsibilities:
● Be a brand representative at all times.
● Provide the best experience through speed and accuracy.
● Ensure you represent the brand at all times by following the company dress code.
● Continually improve product knowledge and research products online.
● Be confident in navigating the customer, suggesting alternatives or fulfilling their
product requests either within another store or online.
● Promote ‘one business’ mindset.
● Escalate customer complaints to the management team.
● Awareness of opening and closing duties and support when necessary.
● Embrace change and support the roll out of new systems.
● Understand the importance of data collection.
● Display high level of telephone etiquette when answering / using the store phone.
● Ensure a professional tone is used when sending emails from the store email.
● Maintain store visual merchandising standards.
● Replenish stock and keeping the shop floor clean and tidy.
● Assist with deliveries & stock recalls.
Roles Specifics Duties
● Act as an intermediary between customers and their assigned Style Advisors,
greeting them in a timely manner and speaking to them professionally
enthusiastically. This includes all mediums such as in-person, telephone
conversations, text messaging and emails.
● Assist and support Style Advisors throughout the selling ceremony inclusive of
retrieving and returning stock and point-of-sale entry.
● Accurately document messages and deliver to Style Advisors in a timely manner
● Support service counter operations, including managing the line up to ensure
customers are serviced as quickly as possible, preparing product for transactions,
packaging client purchases, and returning product to the sales floor.
● Establish and provide strong client relationships over the phones by responding
promptly and appropriately to all internal and external queries and ensuring that all
clients are kept informed as appropriate.
● Help at cashier with processing transactions precisely as needed.
● Prepare packaging and gift wrapping parcels.
● Adhere to company policies and procedures, especially related to POS operations.
● Ensure qualitative monitoring and updating of customer information (CRM).
