MDY Communications has successfully operated in eCommerce for more than 18 years. We specialize in audio/video, networking, security, and installation-supply products, serving both retail and wholesale customers through our own websites and major online marketplaces.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced eCommerce Marketplace Manager to take ownership of our online sales channels, improve product performance, strengthen marketplace operations, and help increase profitable revenue across Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Shopify, and other platforms.
Position Overview
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands both the operational and strategic sides of marketplace eCommerce.
The right candidate will be able to optimize listings, manage product data, analyze sales and advertising performance, monitor competitors, identify growth opportunities, and resolve marketplace issues from start to finish.
This is not an administrative or data-entry-only position. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, works independently, pays close attention to detail, and actively looks for ways to improve sales, profitability, product visibility, and overall marketplace performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize product listings across Amazon, eBay, Walmart Marketplace, Shopify, and other online sales channels.
- Improve product titles, descriptions, bullet points, images, keywords, categories, pricing, variations, and promotions to increase visibility and conversion.
- Review existing listings to ensure they are accurate, competitive, complete, and professionally presented.
- Manage product data, including SKUs, pricing, specifications, images, categories, variations, and marketplace attributes.
- Monitor sales trends, conversion rates, rankings, pricing, inventory, competitor activity, and product performance.
- Identify opportunities to grow revenue, improve profitability, increase product exposure, and expand successful product lines.
- Assist with new product launches, listing creation, bulk uploads, marketplace updates, and catalog expansion.
- Work with company leadership to develop pricing, promotional, merchandising, and marketplace-growth strategies.
- Review Amazon PPC and other marketplace advertising performance and provide practical recommendations based on ACOS, ROAS, sales, conversion, and profitability.
- Monitor marketplace account health, customer feedback, returns, claims, listing suppressions, policy issues, and performance metrics.
- Identify and resolve listing errors, pricing issues, inventory problems, feed errors, suppressed listings, and marketplace bugs.
- Open and manage marketplace support cases and follow through until issues are resolved.
- Coordinate with customer service, purchasing, shipping, warehouse, and marketing teams to support smooth daily operations.
- Create clear reports showing sales performance, advertising results, marketplace issues, product opportunities, and recommended next steps.

- At least three years of hands-on eCommerce or marketplace-management experience.
- Amazon Seller Central
- eBay Seller Hub
- Walmart Marketplace
- Shopify
- Strong understanding of marketplace listings, product optimization, online merchandising, pricing, promotions, and conversion improvement.
- Experience working with SKUs, variations, categories, product specifications, images, spreadsheets, and bulk product data.
- Ability to analyze sales, advertising, pricing, and product-performance data and turn it into practical recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify listing, pricing, inventory, or product-data errors.
- Good written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of projects.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multichannel eCommerce environment.
Compensation
Salary range: $70,000–$90,000 per year
Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated marketplace results.
Higher compensation may be considered for candidates with strong Amazon expertise, advanced marketplace advertising experience, multichannel growth experience, and a proven record of increasing revenue and profitability.
