Job Description
Duties:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against the purchase orders.
- Unload, unpack, and inspect incoming goods for damage or defects.
- Sort, label, and store received items in designated areas.
- Prepare shipping documents and labels for outgoing shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Use order picking equipment such as reach trucks to retrieve items from storage.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems (Acumatica).
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate counts and measurements.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow in the distribution center.
Skills:
- Experience with order picking, shipping receiving, and e-commerce processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Knowledge of stock management principles and inventory control procedures.
- Familiarity with picking packing techniques to ensure safe and secure shipment of goods.
- Proficiency in using computerized systems such as AS400 for inventory management.
- Ability to operate reach trucks or other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities.
