Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across various facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. The Cleaning Technician will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, utilizing proper techniques and equipment to deliver high-quality service consistently.
Early Morning Shifts!
Mondays: 5am - 10am
Tuesdays: 5am - 10am
Wednesdays: 7am - 12pm (week a) 7am - 2pm (week b)
Thursdays: 7am - 12pm
Fridays: 5am - 12pm
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of assigned areas.
- Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas following established protocols.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers safely and effectively.
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as required to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment.
Requirements
- Self-motivated, able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must have own transportation.
- Up to 5 miles of walking per shift, with frequent bending and stooping.
- Prior experience in commercial or residential cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and walking for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation may be required depending on the work location.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including early mornings or evenings if necessary.
- A positive attitude, dependability, and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace environment.
