Description
Responsibilities:
The CNC Machinist is an operations team member with the primary goal of satisfying customer requirements of quality, and delivery, by operating CNC machining centers in a safe and efficient manner. The duties include the operation of a CNC machining centers that are commensurate to industry standards, with regards to program edits, setting up of tooling, and setting up the machine tool in general. Secondary deburring and inspecting of finished parts, along with moving products to appropriate locations while following the proper procedures are required.
Main responsibilities to include operating machines and equipment used in the manufacturing of precision products and working to effectively meet or exceed expectations for product quality and production rates.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Verifies operation to be performed and material to be used on each job as directed by documentation
- Operates machines and produces parts, monitors run to ensure consistent quality parts are being produced
- Uses measuring devices and blueprints to inspect parts for tolerance and visually inspects surface for appearance and other potential problems
- Follow SOP instructions and enter accurate data in JobBoss
- Completes 1st article and in process inspection
- May fit and assemble parts into complete assembly
- Uses hand tools, grinders, scotch brite and other special deburring tools to remove sharp edges from machined surfaces
- Maintains a safe and clean work area
- Loads programs in or takes programs out of the computer control
- Performs setups of equipment with appropriate tooling and fixtures

- 2 years experience operating CNC machining working with small parts in a heavy manufacturing environment or a 2 year technical degree in machining.
- Effective communication both verbal and written in English
- Interest in learning and continued professional growth
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance Standards
- Knowledge and skill of measuring and inspection equipment
- Knowledge and skill in Statistical Process Control
- Hands on skills in CNC Swiss machining
- Geometric Tolerance and ability to interpret drawings
