Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caretaker to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal service
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment through regular cleaning duties and manual handling procedures
- Assist with transportation for appointments or community outings while ensuring resident safety and adherence to resident’s rights
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders
- Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice care, and patient monitoring techniques
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods; heavy lifting may be required
Pay: Up to $10.50 per hour
