Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols of solar sites, including perimeter checks, fence inspections, and physical security assessments
- Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure site integrity
- Manage access control by verifying identities, performing background checks, and authorizing entry for authorized personnel and visitors
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies following established procedures
- Write detailed incident reports documenting any breaches, accidents, or unusual activities
- Perform emergency response procedures such as first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety measures when necessary
- Utilize law enforcement techniques and conflict de-escalation skills to manage confrontations or disturbances effectively
Experience
- Prior experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields is highly desirable
- Knowledge of surveillance systems including CCTV operation and access control systems
- Certified in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use; additional certifications in fire safety or heavy lifting are a plus
- Familiarity with incident report writing and performing background checks on personnel or vendors
- Strong understanding of physical security protocols such as manual handling, heavy lifting, and emergency response procedures
- Proven ability to handle conflict management situations with professionalism and composure
- Excellent customer service skills to interact courteously with site visitors and team members while maintaining security standards
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
