Neurologist

Location: Fort Hood, TX
Facility: Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center – Intrepid Spirit Center

MDPerm is seeking a Neurologist to support the Intrepid Spirit Center at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood, Texas. The Intrepid Spirit Center provides interdisciplinary care for active-duty service members experiencing traumatic brain injury (TBI), neurological trauma, and related cognitive and behavioral health conditions.

In this role, the Neurologist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a range of neurological disorders including TBI, headaches, cognitive impairment, dizziness, and other neurological conditions affecting military personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct neurological examinations and evaluations.

• Diagnose and treat neurological conditions.

• Interpret diagnostic studies including:

  • MRI

  • CT scans

  • EEG

• Develop and implement patient treatment plans.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including:

  • Psychology

  • Audiology

  • Rehabilitation medicine

• Maintain documentation in MHS GENESIS.

• Provide consultation services to other clinical departments.

Minimum Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from accredited medical school.

• Completion of neurology residency.

• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology.

• Current unrestricted medical license.

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred.

• Current BLS certification.

Schedule

• Full-time

• Monday – Friday

• 40 hours per week

Salary : $317,000 - $323,000
