The Data Scientist will use a variety of techniques to build models that can interpret medical records, tackle complex scheduling problems, perform multivariate optimizations, and uncover new business opportunities in a fast-moving environment.Primary Responsibilities:Train models using millions of pages of documents to interpret and summarize a range of medical recordsWork with open source LLMs to build in-house capabilities that will help assist doctors, customers, and employees.Take advantage of massive amounts of data to understand how our customers interact with our product and service offeringsLead the design, analysis, and interpretation of projects from data requirement gathering to data processing, modeling, and recommendationsProactively identify opportunities to improve the experience of doctors on the MDpanel family of apps using data scienceEffectively communicate insights and recommendations to business leaders and influence strategic decision-makingFrequently switch between on-the-ground tactical execution and high level strategyMinimum Qualifications:2 years of experience in a data science capacity in a business strategy, marketing, finance, engineering, or analytics organizationExperience with data querying and manipulation using Python, SQL, or RExperience with data analysis and statistical modeling using packages such as Pandas, statsmodels, scikit-learn, tinygrad, or similarCommunication and presentation skillsSelf-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, experience initiating and driving projects with minimal oversight and guidanceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experienceWhy Should You Work With Us:MDpanel was founded as a remote-work company.
