About the Role:
We are seeking a high-energy, hunter-style Head of Sales to lead new business development for a fast-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP). This is NOT an account-management or farming role. We need a proven sales leader who knows the MSP space inside-out, understands how to sell network security solutions (especially Fortinet), and can drive net-new revenue from day one.
You will be the primary revenue generator in the business — responsible for opening doors, creating pipeline, developing strategic relationships, and closing deals. If you thrive on ownership, autonomy, and building something big, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close — hunter mentality required.
- Identify, target, and engage net-new mid-market and SMB clients for MSP and cybersecurity services.
- Create and execute a scalable go-to-market strategy tailored to the MSP and security landscape.
- Drive new business for Fortinet-based network security solutions, SD-WAN, firewalls, and managed security offerings.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities using modern tools and outbound prospecting techniques.
- Develop relationships with vendors, distributors, and partners to support revenue generation.
- Work with leadership to shape pricing, proposals, and solution positioning.
- Track sales activities, maintain accurate forecasting, and deliver consistent KPI reporting.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking groups, and partner engagements.
Required Experience
- Proven success selling within an MSP — must understand the MSP business model, margins, service packaging, and sales cycle.
- 3–7 years selling network security solutions, with strong preference for Fortinet (NSE certifications a plus).
- Demonstrated hunter performance: consistent history of winning new logos and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience selling cybersecurity, managed services, firewalls, SD-WAN, SOC services, or related solutions.
- Strong understanding of customer pain points in IT infrastructure, networking, and security.
- Ability to create sales playbooks, outbound sequences, and GTM strategies from scratch.
- Comfortable presenting technical concepts to business stakeholders and C-suite leaders.
