Job Title: Bilingual Quality Control (IQC) Inspector
Reports To: Quality Manager
Pay: $17.00 for Day Shift/ $18.00 for Night shift.
Position Overview
The Inbound Bilingual Quality Control (IQC) Inspector with PWS is responsible for ensuring that all incoming/outbound materials, components, and parts meet company quality standards and customer requirements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the reliability and performance of our battery pack products by performing inspections, documenting results, and collaborating with internal teams to address nonconformities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of incoming/outbound materials and components according to established procedures, specifications, and quality standards.
- Utilize basic measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product conformance.
- Accurately record inspection results, maintain detailed documentation, and report findings to the Quality Manager.
- Identify, document, and escalate any nonconformities or quality issues.
- Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements during inspection processes.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of inspection procedures and quality control processes.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or vocational training in quality or manufacturing is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience in quality inspection or a related field within manufacturing or production.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in the use of basic measurement and inspection tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret, specifications, and quality standards (preferred).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and reporting.
Working Conditions
- Primarily based in a production and warehouse environment.
- May involve standing for extended periods and handling materials during inspection.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
