Job Overview
The organization is seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to join its team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing commissioning activities and providing technical service support for low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution equipment. This position plays a key role in ensuring system reliability, smooth integration, and superior after-sales service to enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections, testing, calibration, component replacements, and warranty repairs using power tools and electrical test equipment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely project deployment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams for troubleshooting purposes.
- Schedule and perform regular maintenance and system upgrades for clients.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between the company and its customers.
- Provide client training and operational guidance on equipment usage and maintenance.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with customers throughout service activities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Document all service, testing, and maintenance activities accurately.
- Prepare detailed service reports and share findings with relevant stakeholders.
- Identify and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and service efficiency.
- Provide product feedback to the development and engineering teams for continued innovation.
- Travel domestically and internationally for service, training, and technical support.
Qualifications
Required:
- Vocational education, military training, or equivalent experience in electrical theory or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, or maintaining low- or medium-voltage electrical systems.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 40%).
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with transformers, relay protection systems, and switchgear equipment.
- Bilingual in English and Korean is a plus.
