MDisrupt is uniquely positioned to support companies across all aspects of healthcare product development — including clinical strategy, commercialization, regulatory guidance, and reimbursement planning. With our upcoming platform relaunch and a strategic partnership with the American Heart Association, we are scaling fast and are on a mission to make the most impactful health products reach patients faster.
We're seeking our first Director of Sales to take us from a founder-led sales model to a scalable revenue machine. You’ll be the quarterback of our GTM motion, owning all aspects of revenue generation and leading the charge to bring our offerings to market at scale. This is a builder role for a true hunter who’s hungry to close deals, build the sales function, and shape our sales DNA from the ground up.
- Own and execute the outbound sales strategy targeting healthtech and life sciences companies (Series A to Enterprise)
- Sell both our expert marketplace (services) in conjunction with our platform offering, which includes an access fee and expert engagements (hourly meetings, projects, and more)
- Lead all phases of the sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline in HubSpot, leveraging our Business Development Associate
- Drive strategic focus on cardio and brain health segments, tied to the Heart Association’s expert utilization
- Identify creative, non-obvious paths to revenue through ecosystem insight and deal architecture
- Lay the groundwork for future sales hires as revenue scales
- A proven closer who thrives with autonomy and minimal resources
- Laser-focused on closing deals, with a bias for action and urgency
- Deeply networked in healthcare and with purchasing decision makers, with firsthand understanding of how healthcare products are built, scaled, and commercialized
- Comfortable selling both software (platform access) and people-powered services (expert engagements)
- Equal parts strategic and scrappy — willing to roll up sleeves to get the deal done
- Familiar with the rhythms and pressures of early-stage startups
- 7 years in sales, business development, or GTM roles in healthtech, expert networks, or healthcare services
- Proven track record of closing deals with healthtech/life science buyers (VP, C-suite)
- Experience at companies like GLG, AlphaSights, Tegus, or similar is a major plus
- Experience operating as a solo seller or building a function from zero strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success selling into Series A and enterprise-level healthcare companies
- Achieving our revenue goals while maintaining healthy margins
- Consistent growth in annual recurring revenue (ARR)
- A scalable, repeatable sales foundation that supports future team expansion
