Quality Control Inspector 2nd Shift Only

Description: Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities:

• Inspect finished medical devices and tools, using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, thread plug and thread ring go/no-go gages, optical comparators, and video inspection equipment.
• Perform first piece inspection of intricate parts with minimal supervision for the acceptance of machine set up approval.
• Conduct visual inspection as per customer requirements and/or standards.
• Accurately document inspection features and record data.
• Interact with manufacturing personnel to maintain the required level of quality for all manufactured components.
• Assist in the preparation of inspection documentation and accurate inspection methods for new and revised products.
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and write in English using proper punctuation and grammar.
• Minimum of two years of experience with quality control inspections.
• Knowledge and ability to read and interpret part drawings and specifications
• Experience working with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance)
• Working knowledge of mathematic, geometric and algebraic calculation
• Computer literacy using Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to apply principals of rationalization to solve problems and deal with a variety of variables where only limited standardization exists.
