MDG is seeking an experienced Web Project Manager to join our team!
The Technical Project Manager supports the agency by exemplifying our core values: Dedication, Responsibility, Integrity, Vision, and Excellence. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple digital projects concurrently — including website builds, landing pages, email campaigns, and ongoing digital marketing initiatives. A successful candidate is an organized, proactive, and technically inclined individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage high-volume workloads with composure and efficiency.
MDG follows a hybrid work model of Monday/Friday remote and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in our Boca Raton office. Our scheduled work hours are 9a-6p every day.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze business objectives and translate them into detailed project plans.
- Define and plan the scope of digital projects, prepare budgets, allocate resources, and manage timelines.
- Prioritize projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams, understanding scope, technical requirements, and trade-offs.
- Leverage tools to improve software development workflows, maximize team productivity, and mitigate risks.
- Forecast resource needs and management accordingly to meet project goals.
- Act as the point of contact for developers, clients, and internal teams to ensure clarity on priorities and risk areas.
- Liaise directly with clients and account managers for technical project updates and requests.
- Address and resolve challenges during development to maintain momentum.
- Measure project performance and continuously identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain and organize thorough documentation, reports, and status updates.
- Deliver projects on time, on budget, and in line with quality expectations.
- Participate in quarterly planning, cross-team collaboration, and ongoing process improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as needed to keep projects on track.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, digital marketing, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience as a technical project or program manager, preferably within a digital agency.
- Experience implementing project management tools and productivity/reporting platforms.
- Strong understanding of development workflows and terminology.
- Bonus: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and light coding/scripting.
- Huge plus: Experience working with Salesforce platforms and integrations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills — able to juggle multiple high-priority projects without losing focus.
- Ability to self-manage, adapt to fast-changing priorities, and remain composed under pressure.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a knack for driving collaboration and accountability.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and SEO fundamentals.
- PMP and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred.
