Role Description The Clinical Research Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Lancaster, SC. This position oversees day-to-day study operations, including participant screening, scheduling, and visit coordination, while maintaining strict adherence to study protocols and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include obtaining and documenting informed consent, collecting and entering source data, preparing study-related documents, and ensuring accurate maintenance of case report forms and study binders. The coordinator will communicate regularly with investigators, sponsors, and monitors, support regulatory submissions, manage investigational products, and assist with safety reporting and query resolution. This role also involves promoting participant retention, maintaining organized study records, and contributing to continuous quality improvement in clinical trial conduct.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong experience in Clinical Research and Clinical Trials, ideally within phase II–IV studies.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Protocol compliance, including implementing study procedures and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Informed Consent processes, ensuring ethical, transparent communication with study participants.
- Candidates should possess foundational Research skills, including data collection, data entry accuracy, and basic data interpretation.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in a health-related field (e.g., nursing, biology, public health) or equivalent experience in clinical research.
- Familiarity with GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements; prior experience in a site-based research setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
