Parts Driver
The Parts Driver is responsible for delivering our Auto parts to our customers while maintaining accurate inventory.
Job Description:
- Check inventory of the parts deliveries to make sure every order is accurate.
- Provide customers with friendly customer service.
- Some warehouse work and heavy lifting is required.
- Loading and unloading of vehicle will be necessary throughout the day.
- There are no set amount of delivery stops per day – some days you may have 10 stops, other days you may have 20.
- Inspect, operate and maintain the vehicle and its cleanliness.
- Collect payments whenever necessary.
- Maintain a log of all deliveries and related information for reference and confirmation.
Environmental & Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may incidentally be required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 50 pounds
- A current valid driver’s license and insurability rating is required
- This position may require up to 95% travel
