What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Labor and Delivery position at MDA Edge?

Responsibilities:
  • ​Implement and monitor patient care plans.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience: 2 Years
  • ​Required Education: ADN in Nursing
  • Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, Fetal Monitoring.
  • ​Preferred Certifications: STABLE
  • ​EMR: Cerner
  • ​Scrubs: Any Scrub Color, Hospital Scrubs Available.
Certifications & Clearance Requirements:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification.
  • Fetal Monitoring.
