Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Medical Surgical ICU team. The RN will deliver high-quality patient care, maintain clinical excellence, and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Schedule: Full-Time | 12-Hour Night Shifts
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current and active California Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire).
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a Medical Surgical ICU within an acute care hospital setting.
- Provide safe and compassionate patient-centered care in the Medical Surgical ICU.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient symptoms, reactions, and progress.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and reports.
- Uphold all standards of care, safety regulations, and hospital policies.
- Participate in continuing education and performance improvement initiatives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
