Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse – NICU (Night Shifts) to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit team. This is a full-time position requiring 12-hour night shifts, where you will provide specialized nursing care for critically ill and premature newborns in a collaborative healthcare environment.

- Deliver high-quality nursing care to NICU patients in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Monitor, assess, and document the condition and progress of neonates under your care.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and interventions while ensuring patient safety.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate and support parents and families regarding the care and condition of their newborns.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory guidelines, and professional ethics.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Active California Registered Nurse License at time of hire.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification through the American Academy of Pediatrics.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a NICU or similar acute care setting.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- 2 or more years of NICU nursing experience.
- Experience with Level III or Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Units.
- Specialty certification in Neonatal Nursing (RNC-NIC) or Critical Care Nursing.
- Strong skills in family-centered care, critical thinking, and crisis management.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-acuity, fast-paced environments.
