MD West ONE offers the most comprehensive head-to-toe musculoskeletal and nervous system practice in the region. Our depth in orthopedic, neurosurgery and spine specialized care allows our patients to be seen under ONE versatile, collaborative entity.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a welcoming, friendly, and compassionate Medical Receptionist to greet patients at our Fremont location. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced work environment and is comfortable juggling multiple tasks, while making patients feel welcome to our practice. This is a full-time position, 7:30am-4pm, Monday-Friday.
Location: 3301 Elkhorn Dr, Fremont NE with travel to other clinic locations as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Greets patients promptly in a warm professional manner.
- Reviews upcoming appointments and runs insurance eligibility for office visits in advance to accelerate patient check in.
- Verify and updates patient demographics and insurance information into the practice EHR
- Deliver the highest quality service in a non-judgmental and non-discriminating manner, sensitive to patient and coworker needs
- Contribute to the team-oriented environment by demonstrating cooperative, constructive, problem-solving interaction with coworkers
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a medical clinic highly preferred
- Outgoing and friendly personality
- Ability to tolerate frequent physical activity (sitting, walking, standing, stooping, carrying, talking, seeing, bending, handling); ability to lift up to 25 lbs on an occasional basis
- Strong verbal and computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office and EMR systems
- Reliable, punctual, courteous, flexible, and a fast learner
