Work Schedule Requirements: Must be available all shifts; to include nights, weekends and holidays.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Performs quality checks: this involves pulling four units located in the top case of the first five stacks of each product coming from the production line.
- Notifies supervisor of any products with issues; including, but not limited to, product without dates, incorrect dates, leaking cartons, short filled units or cases, or any empty cases in a stack.
- Places products in the assigned area, stacking 5 cases high, 12 stacks to each row.
- Places dates on products facing the selector line making sure that new products are not placed in front of, or on top of, existing products.
- Verifies that products are labeled correctly.
- Notifies the console operator of any product mixing before products may reach the palletizer.
- Cleans and hoses down all spills.
- Notifies supervisor of leaking products and any waste products resulting in spills.
- Inspects area around chains for milk drops; cleans and hoses down area accordingly.
- Other duties as assigned.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Willing to work overtime and weekends occasionally.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to resolve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Performing this position requires stooping, bending, reaching, handling, walking, climbing, also near and far vision. This position also requires the ability to lift a maximum of 100 pounds, but up to 50 pounds more frequently.
