What are the responsibilities and job description for the OTR Truck Driver position at MD Turbines?
MD TURBINES is an Aviation company that is seeking a reliable, safety focused Over the Road Truck Driver to join our growing logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for the secure and timely delivery of sensitive and high-value cargo, including jet engines and parts, to various destinations across the region and beyond
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company-assigned trucks (Class A CDL required)
- Transport aircraft engines, aviation components, and general freight
- Ensure cargo is properly secured and handled with care
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, inspections, and mileage
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and logistics teams
- Represent MD Turbines Logistics Inc. with professionalism at customer sites
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL (required) NO restrictions
- Clean driving record (MVR)
- Minimum of 2 years’ driving (verifiable)
- Experience with heavy or sensitive cargo a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD systems
- Clean background (TSA/STA certification requirements)
- Clean Clearinghouse
