We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support the daily functions of our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, and comfortable handling confidential information while assisting with recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and general HR administration.
Recruitment & Onboarding-
- Assist with posting job advertisements, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate candidate communication and followup.
- Support onboarding activities, including preparing newhire documents, collecting required forms, and assisting with firstday orientation.
- Employee Records & HR Administration
- Maintain accurate and uptodate employee files (physical and digital).
- Enter and update information in HR systems and spreadsheets.
- Track attendance, PTO, and employee leave requests.
- Support compliance by ensuring all required documentation is complete and organized.
HR Support & Communication-
- Serve as the first point of contact for basic HR questions from employees.
- Assist with preparing HR letters, memos, and internal communications.
- Help coordinate employee events, trainings, and HR initiatives.
- Support payroll processing by collecting timesheets and verifying attendance information (as needed).
Compliance & Reporting -
- Assist in monitoring company policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Help prepare HR reports for management.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications -
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
- 12 years of experience in HR or administrative support preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems a plus.
- Strong sense of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
