What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist position at Md Plastics?
CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
- Set-up and operate machines to manufacture parts to meet engineering blueprints.
- Work closely with CNC programmer to ensure that programs manufacture parts that meet drawing specifications.
- Operation of one or more CNC machines under the direction of supervisors
- Load programs and perform simple edits as needed
- Polishing, Honing, Cutting Pins, and making sure Machines follow their maintenance schedule are also part of the job
- Three Haas Machines: ST20Y, TM2P, and TL2
EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of experience operating CNC mills, lathes, and/or equivalent machinery
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering requirements
- Ability to use inspection measuring devices
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to run Hass or equivalent Machines, especially Y Axis
- Ability to learn honing, cutting, and polishing
