Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, located in San Jose CA, United States. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety through adherence to radiation safety protocols, and collaborating with medical professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic results. The role requires maintaining equipment, documenting procedures, and providing compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process.
Qualifications
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent credentials for nuclear medicine
- Proficiency in Radiation Safety protocols and practices
- Knowledge and expertise in Nuclear Medicine and handling Radiopharmaceuticals
- Strong understanding of medical practices and diagnostic procedures
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and healthcare teams
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining regulatory compliance
- Prior experience with imaging equipment or in a healthcare setting is a plus
