What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Packing Associate position at MD Motors LLC?
MD Motors LLC is an auto salvage yard in Mendota, IL. We sell used auto parts online and ship across the country every day. We are hiring a full-time Shipping and Packing Associate. What you will do: Every morning you will work with the team to find and pull sold parts in the yard. The rest of the day you will pack parts for shipment: boxing, bubble wrap, and preparing larger parts for freight. You will print shipping labels, get packages ready for carrier pickup, and keep the packing area stocked and organized. You will work under our yard lead, directly with the owner. What we are looking for: Able to lift 50 lbs regularly. Reliable transportation to Mendota, IL. Attention to detail: right part, right box, packed so it arrives without damage. Experience with car parts is a plus but not required, we will train you. Pay is $17 to $19 per hour based on experience. Full-time, 40 hours per week.
