Overview
MD Investments is looking for a dependable, hands-on Facility Manager to support the day-to-day operations of multiple self storage locations. This role combines customer service, sales, and property oversight to ensure each facility operates smoothly and delivers an exceptional experience for every tenant.
We’re seeking someone who is proactive, detail-driven, and confident managing both office duties and on-site responsibilities. The position requires routine travel between facilities, strong leadership skills, and the ability to maintain consistent standards across all properties.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the daily operations of several self storage facilities and uphold company procedures.
- Assist customers with inquiries, rentals, payments, and account support while providing outstanding service.
- Complete regular walk-throughs to maintain cleanliness, safety, and strong curb appeal.
- Keep common areas, units, and facility grounds clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Track office and maintenance supply levels and coordinate reordering as needed.
- Stay informed on local competitors and market trends to support pricing recommendations.
- Guide prospective tenants to the right storage solutions and complete rental agreements.
- Process leases, take payments, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Enforce facility rules, lease terms, and safety guidelines consistently.
- Manage delinquent accounts and collections professionally and promptly.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience in self storage, property management, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and follow through on responsibilities.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic math competency for payment and account handling.
- Self-starter who can work independently and take initiative without supervision.
- Ability to travel locally between facilities as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
- Familiarity with SiteLink or similar management software (preferred).
- Experience in collections or accounts receivable is a plus.
Schedule
- Full-time role, typically 8-hour shifts.
- Must be available weekdays and weekends; morning/daytime shifts are preferred.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
