Overview
We are seeking a reliable, motivated Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations of our self storage facility. This is a hands-on role that combines customer service with property management to maintain a secure, clean, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing both administrative tasks and property upkeep.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day facility operations in line with company policies
- Provide excellent customer service for rentals, inquiries, payments, and account support
- Conduct regular property walk-throughs to ensure safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal
- Maintain office and maintenance supply inventory
- Monitor competitors to support pricing and rate adjustments
- Recommend storage solutions and close rental agreements
- Process leases, payments, and maintain organized records
- Enforce lease terms, facility rules, and safety procedures
- Handle delinquent accounts and collections in a professional manner
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in self storage, property management, or a related field (preferred)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent follow-through
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Basic math ability for payments and account management
- Independent, self-starter attitude with initiative
- Experience with SiteLink or similar software (a plus)
- Collections or accounts receivable experience (a plus)
Schedule
- Full-time, 8-hour shifts
- Weekday and weekend availability required
- Morning/daytime shifts preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
