Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels with care and efficiency
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, buffing, waxing, or carpet cleaning to ensure spotless surfaces
- Ensure all areas meet sanitation standards by properly disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or resident requests promptly and professionally
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to promote a safe working environment
- Manage janitorial supplies inventory and notify supervisors when stock levels are low or replenishment is needed
Experience
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred; hotel or residential cleaning background highly desirable
- Familiarity with various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation practices
- Experience in laundry operations within hospitality or residential settings is advantageous
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment and products is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Prior housekeeping management experience is beneficial but not required
