Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. Duties
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all ages.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during the blood draw process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Accurately label specimens and complete necessary documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper specimen handling and processing.
- Stay updated on laboratory procedures, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge to enhance patient care.
- Monitor vital signs when necessary, ensuring the well-being of patients during the procedure.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in patient service and patient care within a clinical or hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of phlebotomy techniques, anatomy, medical terminology, and laboratory procedures.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively across multiple locations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients quickly.
- Certification in phlebotomy or relevant field preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is essential.
- Familiarity with clinical laboratory environments is a plus.
- Must possess strong attention to detail and adhere to safety standards.
