Minimum $18.00 - Midpoint $20.54 - Maximum $23.08 per hour based on a 40-hour work week. This is a full-time position with rotating shifts that may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The primary work location is the MD Anderson Cancer Center campus in the Texas Medical Center.

• Provide information, directions, and assistance to patients, visitors, and staff
• Patrol campus by vehicle and on foot to monitor for suspicious activity and safety hazards
• Enforce institutional and parking regulations; issue permits and citations as needed
• Serve as a Campus Security Authority in compliance with the Clery Act
• Respond to emergencies and maintain calm, professional judgment under pressure
• Support institutional policies and ensure a safe environment for all individuals on campus

EDUCATION
- Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Required: 1 year Relevant work experience.
- Preferred: Customer interaction role.
- Required: TDL - Texas Drivers License Valid and current Texas driver's license with a minimum of three year's history of verifiable driving history. With less than three years of driving history, but with a minimum of one year of driving history, a waiver may be requested. Upon Hire
- Preferred: IAHSS - Certification As A Security Officer One or more levels of certification (Certified Healthcare Security Officer, Certified Advanced Healthcare Security Officer, or Certified Healthcare Security Supervisor) from the International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety Upon Hire
