Our Organizational Development Manager reports to the Director of HR, located in Latham, NY, and is part of a dedicated and focused HR/People Operations Team who support MD&A’s #1 priority – OUR PEOPLE!

Responsibilities
- Studies organizational structures, business and operating procedures, reporting relationships, and team interactions.
- Analyzes results of needs assessments, focus groups, or employee interviews and identifies organizational weaknesses or areas for improvement.
- Creates interventions meant to address performance issues or gaps and monitors program progress to completion.
- Responsible for management or executive development programs.
- Implements learning and development policies and programs, which may include technical training, management or organizational development, sales training, train-the-trainer programs, or learning management.
- Coordinates with managers to identify skill/knowledge gaps and identify training needs, develops training courses, curriculum, or materials, and delivers and evaluates training sessions.
- Selects training tools or training delivery mechanisms, based on the material being taught and the audience being targeted.
- Coordinates guest trainers or subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Assesses training effectiveness and modifies programs to improve results.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development/Leadership or related field of study
- 4 years or more of experience in organization development, learning and development or related experience
- Able to travel to support business development needs
- Comprehensive knowledge of organization development concepts and principles
- Ability to foster teamwork
- Ability to develop and mentor others
- Oral and written communication skills
- Ability to influence others
- Problem/situation analysis, analytical thinking skills, strategic thinking skills, and project management skills
Salary Description
