The Turbine & Generator Controls (TGC) Division of Mechanical Dynamics & Analysis (MD&A) is looking for an experienced Control Systems Operations Manager in its Fort Collins, CO, location. This position will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the execution side of the Turbine & Generator Controls Division.

This position will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the execution side of the Turbine & Generator Controls Division.
Responsibilities
- Implements and develops operational strategies aligned with the division’s business and people strategies and objectives
- Drives operational efficiency and optimization to achieve lower operational costs while maintaining strong customer satisfaction
- Responsible for the overall field service schedules, ensuring a high level of quality, accuracy, and adherence to customer deliverables
- Manage large scale projects for the division to meet customer and business needs
- Lead a team of field service and engineering resources, ensuring employees are adhering to safety regulations and standard operating procedures, and development of employees to support continued growth and talent planning
- Oversight of the Fort Collins facility to provide a safe and collaborative work environment
- Collaborate with division leaders and finance to manage the operational financials while ensuring growth and profitability of the Turbine & Generator Controls business
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
- 8 years of experience in the power industry
- Basic knowledge of pre-digital control systems (pre-1990) required
- Experience working with OEM new and retrofit turbine control systems
- Turbine auxiliary systems knowledge including hydraulics, valve actuators, trip systems, and other mechanical components related to turbine operation
- Generator startup and operation experience
- Basic knowledge of plant operations and project management fundamentals
- 15% travel required, mainly domestic with the possibility of international travel
