Job Summary: The MCTS Rose Program is growing! We are seeking skilled and compassionate psychotherapists to join our team. As a psychotherapist, you will provide therapeutic services to adults with trauma, utilizing our curriculum created from a psychodynamic framework and various other modalities.
Your role will involve conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to support the mental health and well-being of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices, especially psychodynamic
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care for clients
- Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Provide crisis management and intervention when necessary
- Stay current with research and advancements in the field of psychotherapy
- Excellent self-awareness and countetransference management
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field
- Passion for working with trauma.
- Valid state licensure as a psychotherapist or eligibility for licensure
- Experience working with individuals with trauma preferred
- Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans
- Strong knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic and group therapy
- Familiarity with psychopharmacology and its integration into treatment plans
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
