Entry-Level Personal Lines Account Representative (In-Office)
About the Role
We’re a local, growing insurance agency looking for a reliable, people-oriented team member to join our Personal Lines department. This is a full-time, in-office position, and no prior insurance experience is required. We’re happy to train someone who has strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn, and provide a clear path to building a long-term career in insurance.
What You’ll Do
- Help clients with questions about their home, auto, umbrella and boat insurance
- Assist with policy changes, renewals, billing, and basic claims support
- Work with insurance carriers and internal team members
- Support inbound sales opportunities (no cold calling)
- Identify and implement cross selling opportunities
- Use agency systems to keep client information organized
- Be part of a supportive, team-focused office environment
Training & Licensing
- No insurance license required to start
- All training and licensing costs are fully covered
- Property & Casualty license required within 6 months
- Step-by-step training and ongoing support provided
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused
- Organized and comfortable learning new tasks
- Clear communication skills
- Comfort with technology (email, CRM and office systems)
- Team-oriented with a willingness to learn
- Insurance or office experience helpful, but not required
