Job Title: Millwork Project Manager
Location: Menomonee Falls, WI
MCS Woodworking is a leading manufacturer of architectural millwork and custom casework, primarily serving the commercial industry. Due to consistent growth, this client has relocated from Milwaukee to Menomonee Falls, doubling the size of it's production facility.
Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead our custom millwork projects from inception through installation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural millwork and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform take-offs of architectural plans to provide accurate quotes.
- Manage subcontracts for stone and installation, including pricing.
- Develop and submit RFIs to GCs and architects.
- Oversee project timelines, ensuring on-time delivery and installation.
- Review and quality control submittal/shop drawings.
- Communicate effectively with contractors, architects, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Purchase specialty materials and coordinate orders.
- Manage onsite coordination and field measurements.
- Prepare pricing and negotiate change orders.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to MCS's quality standards.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in architectural millwork or a similar industry.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Wood Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) Standards is a plus.
Physical Demands:
- Schedule- Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Work Location: On site - Menomonee Falls Production Facility
