In our time of Company growth, we seek a Staff RN Cardiology
Work Locations: Bradenton, FL
As Part Of This Role, You Will
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and symptoms
- Provide direct nursing care to patients with cardiovascular diseases such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, and post-cardiac procedures
- Interpret electrocardiograms (EKGs) and monitor telemetry
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures such as stress tests, cardiac catheterizations, and echocardiograms
- Educate patients and families on heart health, medications, lifestyle modifications, and disease management
- Collaborate with physicians, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols
What you need to bring to this role:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in cardiology, telemetry, or critical care
