Work Location: Bradenton, FL
JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal disorders.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory tests, imaging studies, and diagnostic procedures.
- Perform endoscopic procedures including:
- Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)
- Colonoscopy
- Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
- Capsule Endoscopy
- Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) (preferred if applicable)
- Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) (required/preferred based on organizational needs)
- Diagnose and manage conditions including but not limited to:
- Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)
- Peptic Ulcer Disease
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis)
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
- Liver diseases
- Hepatitis
- Pancreatic disorders
- Gallbladder disease
- Gastrointestinal bleeding
- Colon polyps
- Gastrointestinal cancer
