Responsibilities
Assist chiropractors during patient examinations and treatments, ensuring procedures are conducted efficiently and comfortably. Observe and monitor patient responses during therapy sessions, documenting any changes or concerns related to pain levels or mobility. Conduct initial patient assessments, including taking vital signs, reviewing medical histories, and performing basic physical examinations. Support the development and implementation of personalized care plans by gathering relevant patient information and assisting with treatment documentation. Manage patient flow by scheduling appointments, confirming visits, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with privacy regulations. Educate patients on post-treatment care instructions, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to promote ongoing health improvements. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols and medical standards.
Requirements
Previous experience or training in patient observation, acute pain management, or physical therapy is highly valued. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging enhances your ability to support clinical activities effectively. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess symptoms related to occupational health or primary care settings. Familiarity with trigger point therapy techniques and pain management strategies is a plus. Ability to perform thorough patient assessments through physical examinations and interpret relevant data accurately. Effective communication skills for explaining treatment procedures clearly and empathetically to diverse patient populations. A proactive attitude with the capacity to learn new skills related to chiropractic care and treatment planning.
