What You’ll Do
- Perform receiving inspection using testing procedures such as pull test or measurement analysis, and recording data to determine if incoming materials are acceptable before placing into inventory.
- Inspect all in-process work on an hourly basis using vision, touch, and measuring instruments to assure parts meet quality standards.
- Perform final audit on all full containers by reading labels, verifying information, taking random samples and inspecting for defects to assure product integrity.
- Place parts with discrepancies “on-hold” by issuing non-conforming numbers, and communicating information to Production and Quality personnel so that defective products are properly tracked.
- File product samples as well as first and last shots in appropriate customer boxes and record data so that information is timely and readily retrievable.
- Maintain various quality assurance reports and necessary documentation in an accurate and timely manner to verify that parts meet quality criteria.
- Demonstrate the ability to identify molding defects.
- Demonstrate the ability to perform Measurements.
- Overtime hours will be required with little notice.
Education & Experience
- High School diploma; GED; or equivalent.
- Score of 75 or less on the Farnsworth-Munsell Hue Test.
- Minimum of 2 years Quality experience preferrably in plastics

Pay: $42,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
