Position Description for Niobrara Public Schools, Niobrara, Nebraska
The Niobrara Public Schools Board of Education, Niobrara, Nebraska, is seeking a highly qualified Superintendent to lead the district and support its mission of ensuring success for all students.
McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C., Executive Recruitment and Development are engaged as consultants in a search for outstanding candidates. They will assist the School Board in identifying and screening the candidates.
Enrollment: 214 students
Location: Niobrara, Nebraska
Salary: Regionally competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
The Qualifications
- Skills in budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation, with a strong understanding of grants, Impact Aid, and other essential funding sources.
- A collaborative, honest, and positive leader who actively engages stakeholders and builds strong relationships within the community.
- Deep understanding of the academic and social emotional needs of a diverse school district, with the ability to positively influence student achievement and instructional quality.
- Proven experience fostering teamwork. Academic leadership and experience with cooperative schools and the ability to build, support, and motivate high-performing teams.

- Finalists’ Interviews with the School Board: January 28, 2028
