- Monitors adjustments in patient dietary information to update current records and adjust services accordingly.
- Coordinates and assists other kitchen staff with meal preparation, serving, and distribution for the Hospital and Meals-On-Wheels to support and ensure a productive work environment.
- Operates and monitors kitchen appliances to maintain temperature, environment, and food storage safety and prevent food waste.
- Executes and maintains a clean workspace to ensure a food safe environment.
- Assists in organizing and arranging delivered goods to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
- Works well under pressure and can multitask, abilities to switch tasks at a short notice.
- Works well in a team setting.
- Abilities to perform using basic math skills.
- Implements effective communication skills.
Education/Licensure/Certifications:
- Some High schooling; must be at least 16 years of age, 18 to operate kitchen equipment.
- Food service preferred, but not required
